My name is Mario Marzuki, and I am an Indonesian-born fine art photographer and printmaker.
I first came into New Zealand with my family in 1999. We moved into the West Auckland area where it has been my home for the last 16 years.
As far as I could remember as a child, my father had always been keen with photography. However my own interest in it really only started 11 years ago.
One day in 2004, I picked up my very own first digital camera.
Despite my “digital upbringing” however, I found a strong, romantic attachment to “traditional” techniques of printmaking and mounting.
Each photographic item you see on display has been lovingly and uniquely hand-made, 100% in New Zealand.
Each is signed, numbered, and uses archival-grade materials to ensure its’ long-term colour integrity for your lasting enjoyment (75+ years).
I also offer three unique guarantees to give you a peace of mind as well as protection of your fine art investment.
Thank you for your interest in my photographic artworks and I am looking forward to your custom.
